Help Shape the Future of Biking in Santa Cruz County

Bike Santa Cruz County wants to hear from you!

Our annual biking survey is now open through the end of June, and we’re inviting riders from across Santa Cruz County to share their experiences, concerns, and ideas. Whether you ride every day, hop on an e-bike now and then, bike with your kids, commute to work, or simply wish it felt safer to ride more often, your voice is important.

The survey is available in both English and Spanish so more people across the County can participate. We want this survey to better reflect the full range of people who bike in Santa Cruz County and the different communities, needs, and experiences that make up our local biking landscape. The data we collect helps us understand what people are experiencing on the road; which streets feel unsafe, where better connections are needed, how people feel about e-bikes and the rail trail, what kinds of events and programs people want, and what changes would make biking safer, easier, and more joyful.

We use this data in meetings with City Leaders, County Staff, Public Works, Transportation Agencies, and Nonprofit Partners to advocate for better decisions, stronger investments, and safer infrastructure. It also helps us identify trends over time and make sure our advocacy is rooted in what real riders are saying. Your participation really matters and is incredibly useful.

Please take a few minutes to fill it out and share it with others. The more people who participate, the stronger the picture we can paint of what biking in Santa Cruz County is really like and what needs to happen next.

Contact us at director@bikesantacruzcounty.org with any questions.

🌟 As a thank-you, 10 randomly selected survey participants will receive prizes after the survey closes at the end of June.🌟
