Community Bike Collective’s Bike Giveaway program helps those in our community who have experienced hardships in life.  Receiving a refurbished bike provides freedom, the ability to get to appointments, school, work, and facilitates an active lifestyle to improve mental and physical health.  CBC is beyond grateful for your support which has enabled this program to deliver hundreds of bikes to our community members over the past few years.

We receive more requests for bikes during the holiday season than any other time of year.  In preparation, we are scheduling two FixIt days, Saturday November 15th and Saturday November 22nd, to refurbish our supply of donated bikes and we’d love your help again.

We will provide parts and supplies.  We need :

·         Mechanics who can wrench on bikes until they are running safely and smoothly.  (Please bring your own tools and bike stand if you have them)

·         People to clean bikes

·         People to review and test the refurbished bikes 

·         Logistics support/ extra help where needed
